Florida here we come.....

This was our first 42, yes I said 42, hour road trip as a Fam. Gas was incredibly cheap at the time and flying was not in this budget this go around. Poor Brandi was stuck in the very very backseat with my two children....she was a trooper though. Anywho, we drove to Florida with our neighbor friends, they have three little boys too. This was Mom's, Sydni's, Ethan's and Brandi's (sister) first trip to Disney, ya Dad was a lucky kid who got to go a few times as a child. We went for an entire week, stayed at Port New Orleans on Disney Property....of course the property on the creek with fish!

Disney was truly magical as they say. It was the perfect time of year to go, cool, not crowded and cheaper. Some of our favorite rides were Test Track, Peter Pan Ride, Sky Ride and Pirates of the Caribbean Boat. The other great thing.....the Character Dinners. They were so surreal and the food was to die for. Ethan was climbing up our legs most of the time, we found that quite amusing though. He Finally bought himself a gun at the Pirate Store and started shooting at all the bad and scary guys for the rest of the trip. Sydni of course loved all the princessy stuff and the endless Sugary Snacks!!

We had so much fun, we want to go back already next year. Maybe Jonathan won't kidnap my Son this time and force every security guard to be on the look out for a 2yr old blond boy with a diaper and Mikey Tshirt on! Just ask him the story sometime, I can't re-live that moment for a while.
